Vanten's preschool started its operations in a basement on Rebbelberga in 1990 with 12 children and 3 educators. In 1991, we moved into the newly built premises at Västersjögatan 55 where we are still housing. At the same time we expanded to two units 1-6 years.
In 1997 we opened our youth recreation center in Sörgården's old premises, and in 1999 we bought the villa on Rapsgatan 21 where we moved our after school activities. In January 2005, we overtook "Rögle preschool's" old premises and expanded to three units. Today we yet again fully focus on kids from 1-6 years, but now with four units and 13 educators. We have a total of 50 children in our activities.
